The Piermont | Kerry & Rob

Kerry and Rob’s beautiful wedding at The Piermont in Babylon. The day started off full of excitement as Kerry got ready at her childhood home in Bohemia.  Her sister Jill did a stunning job on Kerry’s hair and make-up and Kerry looked absolutely radiant.  Her mom and sisters helped Kerry dress in her gorgeous  gown and it was a bittersweet moment when Kerry’s dad came in to see her for the first time. Rob got ready at the couple’s home in Sayville and they had decided that they wanted to do their first look there with their dog Molly who was the “Dog of Honor” watching off to the side.   Rob awaited Kerry in their back yard as Kerry made her way to see her groom.  When Rob turned to see his bride the emotions overwhelmed the couple and Molly couldn’t wait to be a part of the moment.. We took some photos with Kerry and Rob and Molly and both of their families before heading over to The Grange, Argyle Park and The Piermont for more photos and then the ceremony.  The intimate outdoor ceremony at dusk overlooking the Oak Island Channel and Captree Island was breathtaking as the couple exchanged their vows.  The décor in the reception was simply elegant as guests still were able to enjoy the water view.  Everyone had a great time dancing and singing along to the many Billy Joel songs that Kerry and her family requested since they are all huge Billy Joel fans. At the end of the evening guests enjoyed mini milk shakes, a candy apple/popcorn/hot pretzel bar and hot coco to go.  Congratulations Kerry and Rob!!

George Weir Barn Wedding | Megan & Chris

Megan and Chris had a breathtaking fun wedding at the historic George Weir Barn in Lloyd Harbor.  The couple said they knew they wanted us to share in their wedding day after a photo we took of them at Chris’s sister’s wedding; we were so excited to work with them.  For Megan and Chris’s engagement photo session we spent a fun filled day in the town of Cold Spring Harbor and it was awesome to see those photos displayed at the wedding.  Arriving at the venue Chris waited to see his beautiful bride on the beautiful grounds for their first look.  Megan looked absolutely stunning in her spectacular gown.  The couple could not restrain their emotions when they finally got to see each other for the first time.  Prior to the ceremony we walked the couple around the venue grounds for some photos.  The ceremony site was magical, under a big tree with a beautiful draped canopy; surrounded by their family and friends, it was emotional and sweet.  The barns décor was beautiful and Megan’s attention to details were amazing, from the beautiful sparkly table runners and floral lanterns to the yummy donut wall and ice cream bar.  Guests enjoyed playing corn hole, having fun in the photo booth and dancing all night.  Congratulation Megan and Chris!!

Old Field Club Wedding | Laura & Scott

Laura and Scott had a beautiful summer wedding at the Old Field Club in Setauket.  Laura and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day at Laura’s parents house, while the Scott and his groomsmen got ready at a nearby hotel.  Laura looked absolutely stunning in her Pronovias wedding gown and her girls looked lovely in their Hayley Paige bridesmaids dresses.  The couple exchanged vows at St. Rose of Lima R.C. church in Massapequa. You could feel Scott’s emotion when he saw his bride walking down the aisle towards him, it was sweet.  We took photos of the couple and their bridal party at the historic Old Field Point Lighthouse, family photos at the Old Field Club and then we took Laura and Scott down to West Meadow Beach for a few romantic photos.  A spectacular view of West Meadow Creek for cocktail hour before guests headed inside for the reception.  The reception room looked simply beautiful with the cascading floral décor.  Laura and Scott’s first dance song was Baby I’m Yours by the Arctic Moneky’s (very cool).  Along with their friends and family, they danced the night away and had a amazing time at their wedding!

Old Filed Club Wedding | Lindsey & Sean

Lindsey was the picture of perfection when I arrived at the hotel for bride prep.  Her hair and makeup was exquisite, and played perfectly with her Madison James wedding gown with it’s lace peek a boo sides.  Her bridesmaids wore champagne colored dresses, of different shades and styles and all paired perfectly with all of the bouquets.  Sean and his groomsmen dressed at Lindsey’s and his house before they were to head over to the Old Field Point Lighthouse for their reveal. Since Lindsey’s dad was with the guys getting ready, she decided she also wanted to do a first look with her dad at the lighthouse before Sean and she would see each other.  As Lindsey walked up to Sean for him to see her for the first time you could see and feel the emotion between them.  Their parents and bridal party watched from a close distance as the couple enjoyed the moment. Sean was giddy with excitement when his saw his stunning bride.  Sean’s firehouse brought a vintage fire truck to the lighthouse for the couple to take photos with. And after many photos at the lighthouse we all headed over to the Old Field Club for more family and bridal party photos.  The ceremony overlooked the tranquil West Meadow Creek and the officiate was Lindsey’s close family friend, Senator John Flanagan, who got ordained just for her wedding.  The ceremony was beautiful and very sentimental.  The couple and all of their guests enjoyed the steel drum player during the cocktail hour and the couple kept the cocktail style for the entire night of the reception. The wedding cake was adorned with fresh figs, cherries and blackberries and the table tops, with simple, yet elegant floral centerpieces.  Everyone kept the dance floor packed and full of fun, some even felt the need to dance on the speakers and play the drums.  Congratulations Lindsey and Sean!!

Danfords Wedding | Alexandra & Brian

A girl from Long Island meets a boy from Kentucky and falls in love.  Alexandra and Brian’s wedding day was beautiful.  Alexandra and her bridesmaids enjoyed champagne and laughs  at her childhood home after returning from the salon and before slipping into their dresses; while Brian and his groomsmen got  ready at Danford’s Hotel and Marina before heading over to the church.  Alexandra’s sister and mom helped her into her stunning Moonlight wedding gown and it was a sweet and emotional  moment when Alexandra’s dad came in to see her for the first time.  As the doors opened at the back of the church both Brian and Alexandra were overwhelmed with emotion, as his breathtaking bride made her way up the aisle towards him.  After the beautiful and personalized ceremony, the couple took a few photos back at the altar before heading over for more photos at the beautiful Belle Terre Gates and Port Jefferson Harbor with their families and bridal party.  Guests enjoyed an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour at the reception venue, Danford’s Hotel and Marina and the décor in the reception room was elegant as guests enjoyed the view that overlooked the Port Jefferson Harbor. The band rocked the night away and kept the dance floor jumping all night long.  Congratulations Alexandra and Brian!!
