Captain Bills Wedding | Kylie & Jonathan

Kylie and Jonathan had the most incredible wedding day at Captain Bill’s in Bayshore. It’s hard to believe only a few months ago we were taking photos on Fire Island for your engagement.  I arrived at bride prep at Kylie’s sister house while Jonathan and his groomsmen got ready at his parents’ house.  Kylie and her bridesmaids were watching the movie bridesmaids as they were all getting their hair and makeup done for Kylie big day.  It was so nice to see two of my past brides in the wedding party, I truly love this group of amazing people. Kylie gave her bridesmaids beautiful earrings and Jonathan gave his groomsmen Yeti hot/cold cups and a set of wood coasters.

Kylie’s sisters helped her slip into her stunning wedding gown, which was her something new, her something old was a spectacular beaded clutch purse, Kylie’s something borrowed was her grandmothers wedding band that was pinned onto her bouquet and her something blue was a blue embroiled patch that was sewn into her wedding gown, next stop, the church to marry Jonathan.

After a beautiful ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church in Bayshore and some photos on the beautiful spiral staircase in the church, we all headed over to the Brightwater Canal/Lakes for family and bridal party photos.  It was a little chilly and Kylie wore a beautiful mink jacket to keep her warm and it looked stunning in the photos. After the photos everyone headed over to the venue where Kylie and Jonathan took a few more photos out on the back deck overlooking the water and dock.

The reception room was elegantly decorated with beautiful flower and candle arrangements.  The band was out of this word amazing and Jonathan even tore it up on his guitar with the band and the guests went wild!  We even got to see more of our past couples, and their parents at the wedding which is always a special treat for us.

Thank you Kylie and Jonathan for having us share in your wedding day with you.

Congratulations Kylie and Jonathan!!

The Vineyards | Kate & Mike

Kate and Mike got married on a beautiful fall day at The Vineyards at Aquaboque.  Kate and her bridesmaids got ready in the elegant hotel bridal suite and Kate gave her girls Ray Ban sunglasses that matched their bridesmaid’s dresses.  Mike and his groomsmen were also getting ready at the hotel and he gave his groomsmen custom cufflinks.  Mike and the guys left for the venue where Mike and Kate would see each other for the first time prior to their ceremony.  Kate’s sister and mom helped her slip into her dress before a quick first look with her dad, and then we were off to the venue for Kate and Mike’s first look with each other.  After an emotional first look between Kate and Mike the couple and their bridal party and families posed for photos in the vineyards.  Kate and Mike exchanged vows outside on the beautiful ceremony site at the venue.  Guests enjoyed the delicious food at cocktail hour before heading into the stunning reception room.  Fusion DL  kept the dance floor moving for the duration of the party.  After the reception we whisked Kate and Mike away to a farm/flower stand for some spectacular sunset photos.  Congratulations Kate and Mike!!

George Weir Barn Wedding | Dani & Joey

Dani and Joey’s wedding at the historic George Weir Barn was picture perfect.  Bride prep took place at Dani’s parent’s house and all the girls were buzzing around and getting their hair and make-up done. After casual photos in the comfy matching pj’s it was time to have Dani slip into her beautiful wedding gown.  Dani looked absolutely breathtaking in her lace and crystal encrusted corset bodice gown and we all left for the first look at Quentin Sammis West Neck Beach in Llyod Harbor.  Joey and his groomsmen got ready at Dani and Joey’s house. One of Joey’s gifts to his guys were custom socks, they each got a different design to go with their personality.  When the guys were finished they headed to the beach for the reveal.  Joey was full of the happiest emotion after seeing Dani for the first time and Dani was just as emotional.  After a few photos at the beach we all headed to the barn for all the family and bridal party before guests arrived for the ceremony.  The couple got married in the garden behind the Henry Lloyd Manor House.  After the ceremony the guests enjoyed  the cocktail hour on the side of the barn where they enjoyed playing corn hole and taking photos in the vintage VW photo bus.  Tommy’s tunes kept the guests on the dance floor all night and the guest enjoyed donuts from the Doughology donut truck.

Congratulations Dani & Joey!!

Old Field Club Wedding | Melissa & Keith

Melissa and Keith’s super charged wedding at The Old Field Club.  Bride prep was at a quaint little cottage in Port Jefferson.  Melissa looked absolutely radiant when I arrived, hair and make-up were completed and she was ready to slip into her stunning wedding dress.  Keith and his best man got ready at Keith’s aunt and uncle house, which had amazing music memorabilia and collectables.  The couple did their reveal at the Old Field Point Lighthouse with two beautiful custom cars, one being Keith gorgeous Deep purple 1967 Chevelle and the bride arrived in a white convertible Cutless.   After photos by the lighthouse and at the West Meadow Beach – Beach Club, the couple had a beautiful ceremony at the venue overlooking the West Meadow Creek.  The weather was beautiful and guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside before heading in to enjoy a night of great music and lots of dancing.  At the end of the evening the couple drove off in their supercharged Chevelle.

Congratulations Melissa and Keith!

The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow Wedding – Victoria & Brian

This family is like family to me!!  I love the Amityville families and all of their friends that I have gotten to know over the years and that I get to share their special events with.  When I arrived at Victoria’s bride prep the house was buzzing with the bride, her amazing family and her bridesmaids.  The bride and a few girls are getting their hair and makeup done. The bridesmaids dresses were hanging in the front foyer and the bouquets were delivered, everyone is ready for the day to begin.  Victoria’s mom and sister helped her into her stunning gown and the girls waited to see the bride cascade down the stairs, she was picture perfect, I had to have her stop mid-way down to have Victoria sit in the window seat with the beautiful stained glass window.  Brian and his groomsmen got ready at a nearby hotel from Victoria’s childhood home before heading over to Sunken Meadow Park for the first look.  Brain awaited his bride on the wood bridge that overlooked the Sunken Meadow Creek.  I definitely saw tears in Brian’s eyes when he saw Victoria, his soon to be wife.  We took photos of this stunning couple, their families and bridal party at/by the bridge before heading over to the venue for some beach photos. The weather was perfect for Victoria and Brian’s beach wedding at The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow.  The couple were married overlooking the Long Island Sound just before sunset (which made for some more beautiful photos).  The guests enjoyed a beachside cocktail hour and reception. The décor was simple and stunning, sand dollar guest place cards, beautiful Hydrangea floral arrangements at the ceremony site and the part of the table centerpieces along with seashells, the fern lighted garland that draped from the ceiling, every single detail was perfect.  Knowing this great crowd of people I knew we were all in for an amazing night and the DJ’s had the dance floor moving all night!!

CONGRATULATIONS VICTORIA AND BRIAN!!!
